Run Formentera, Spain

Formentera is one of the Balearic Islands off the coast of Spain. Without any airports and reachable only by ferry via the neighboring island of Ibiza, as you can imagine, the vibes are nothing short of magical. Expect idyllic beaches, a whole lot of sunbathing, swimming in crystal clear waters and quite literally, racing around the entire island.

Formentera hosts ‘Formentera to Run’ – a week long running event comprised of 5 races of various distances ranging from 8k to 12k, culminating with a half marathon followed by a paella and beer celebration. Each day a new race at a new location, allowing runners to explore all of this beautiful island (any/all races are optional).

Coach Andrew and Coach Laura (of co-host LeveledUp Experiences) will provide full support to facilitate the team’s racing – including training plans, race strategy sessions, race warmups, stretching and restorative sessions.

Outside of running, enjoy hanging in our private villa, relaxing on the island’s beaches, cruising around in Meharis and excellent local cuisine, shopping and sight-seeing.

All races are optional; all paces and levels are welcome.

To get you race ready, all travelers will receive:

  • Customized 12 week training plan
  • 12 in studio MHRC classes
  • Invitation to a special 'Run Formentera' class to meet your fellow travelers!
