RUN SPECIALTY: 5K, 10K, Half and Full Marathon
#1 PIECE OF ADVICE: Remember to breathe. Every time I get overwhelmed in a run or feel like something is impossible in the moment, I take a deep breath, tell myself I can do it, take another deep breath and tackle each effort, mile, minute at a time.
WHY SHE LOVES RUNNING: Running is when I feel most myself. I feel my strongest, my most graceful and my most powerful when I’m running. It gives me moments to think, work things out, push myself and work toward goals. It’s also something I can come back to and it always feels like home.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN HER CLASSES: Playlists will always be fire! Be ready for some serious pop bangers! My classes could be described as challenging but doable. Hitting that sweet spot of working hard and feeling accomplished at the end of classes. Typically it’s a mix of hills and speed work, opportunities to do some speed play and always finish out stronger than we started.
